We've all been there: what to write when we don't know the answer to a question in an exam? Should we just draw a question mark and leave it at that? Most students try to score at least a fraction of a point by writing long, vague, anecdotical answers. Does that really work? A UCU lecturer surveyed fellow teachers to find out. In this newsletter, you'll also learn more about the history of Veterinary Medicine in the Netherlands and meet a Colombian doctor who worked as a nanny in the Netherlands so she could learn English to apply for a Master's at UU. For a complete overview of our news and articles, visit dub.uu.nl/en.
