Students living in the Utrecht Science Park have been complaining for years about the lack of a properly sized supermarket. Even so, that's not part of the municipality's plans for the area, so all that is left for them to do is protest. And so they did, with a petition. Speaking of protesting, students also took the streets of Amsterdam to demand fair compensation for missing out on the basic student grant. In other news, UU Professor Hans Clevers made headlines once again due to his move to Switzerland to work for pharmaceutical giant Roche.
