When it comes to popularity among students, it looks like the University Council has seen better days. Most students approached by DUB had not heard about the election and couldn't say what the student members do. This year, only two parties are running because the other two couldn't find candidates. In other news, the number of temporary contracts remains a sore point in the collective labour agreement, despite protests in Utrecht.
