DUB is back and so is university life. The Dutch students have already had their introduction week and most international ones are arriving this week. Soon they will all be offered a course on sexual consent, as part of a campaign to make the university safer. Apart from that, lots happened this summer at UU and beyond: the university pledged only to work with the fossil fuel industry under certain conditions and the Dutch cabinet fell, putting a question mark in the future of several plans for the higher education sector.
