| And so a new academic year begins. Welcome, or welcome back! At Utrecht University's opening ceremony, several speakers expressed concerns about students' mental health. Perhaps mental health might have something to do with students' drug use, a topic DUB has delved into. But students are not the only ones struggling: a survey showed that 25 per cent of scientists in the Netherlands experience symptoms associated with depression and/or anxiety. Before you start getting depressed too, we suggest watching our cheerful video with international freshers guessing the meaning of Dutch words. For more news, visit www.dub.uu.nl/en |
