Have you managed to secure a room already? If so, consider yourself lucky. DUB followed Irem, a Master's student from Turkey, for five months: from the day they heard they were accepted at UU to the day they finally moved to a room. Irem will live in Nieuwegein, so a little bit outside Utrecht. We also spoke with other students living in the outskirts of the city to learn what that's like. Last but not least, we talked to the alderman Dennis De Vries about the municipality's plan to send slumlords packing. For a complete overview of our news and articles, visit dub.uu.nl/en.
