| A new academic year is about to start, and with it comes the promise of much better days. Most classes will be offered on campus now, without the need to stay 1.5 metres away from each other. No wonder the freshmen attending the introduction week (UIT) paid no mind to the rain that insisted on falling. But not everyone is all smiles, for students and staff in poor health are still unable or unwilling to go to campus. In addition, UU has been at the centre of a discussion about how to assess the quality of a scientist's work. Its new assessment method rubbed 175 scientists up the wrong way.
