| UU economists can breathe a sigh of relief after all. After the shocking news that the bachelor's programme would have to switch to Dutch rather than create an additional Dutch-taught track, those plans were thrown in the bin because the incoming cabinet wants to keep the internationalisation of higher education as it is. Many are happy about the coalition agreement and the decision to scrap (most of) the budget cuts on education. This government might actually be much less focused on education than it seems, however.
