| Student association Veritas is launching an awareness campaign against sexual harassment, following the report by Amnesty International revealing that one in ten women are raped while they're university students in the Netherlands. | Worried about classes on campus? Other arrangements are possible

| Those who are concerned about their health once UU starts offering classes on campus again, this time without the 1.5-metre distance rule, will have to talk to their manager or study advisor to investigate alternatives. UUers are expected to take self-tests regularly and a vaccination station will be available on campus. Read more

| From September 20, Dutch higher education institutions will be allowed to hold exams for groups larger than 75 students, provided that they are able to ensure that everyone observes social distancing. | Trams will only run again from September 6
|
| The renovation works on the tram tracks connecting the Utrecht Science Park to Utrecht Central Station are taking longer than expected. That's why there will be no trams running between August 23 and September 5. Busses will adopt a different timetable because of that. Read more

| Amsterdam among best cities to pursue higher education abroad

| Amsterdam has risen three spots in the QS Ranking of Best Student Cities, occupying the 21st position among 115 cities.
